'' My 'conservatory' is a porch attached to the side of the kitchen where previously there was only a small window. It fulfils so many functions that I wonder how managed without one for so long:
It serves as:
Utility/ washing machine zone
Dog feeding station
Dog grooming parlour
Dog drying area
'Dog stuff' storage area
Coat storage
Boot and shoe room
Broom cupboard
- all of which used to be part of the kitchen!
It also allows more morning sunlight in to the kitchen, and gives direct access from the kitchen to the garden - very handy in wet weather.
